Father's Day idea: Sports blanket for baby

I couldn't really help but swoon when I saw this adorable photo of dad and baby cuddled up in a football blanket. It got me to thinking how adorable it would be as a Father's Day gift or for a new dad. 

It's available for purchase on Teamees.com, but it would be sooo simple to make (sorry Teamees)! I'm thinking some super-soft brown and white chenille would do the trick. Then you get to watch Daddy and baby snuggle in a manly way every night.

Maybe it's the hormones, but I'm loving the idea...
